Early-Mid season flowering, May to June in the UK.  Reblooming in Autumn.

Slight sweet fragrance.

Ruffled, flared luminata flowers in purple and white.

Purple standards with a near-white edge, deep-purple falls graduating lighter toward centre. Falls have a thin white edge and a white ray pattern around the beard. The beard is white, tipped yellow in the throat.

Introduced by Donald Spoon in 2001 from Clarence and Mind Reader with more than twenty descendants.

Honorable Mention 2003, Award of Merit 2005 and John C Wister Medal in 2007.
