Dusky ruffled Plicata blooms with red-purple standards having apricot inside with red-purple dotting. The style arms are red-purple and apricot inside the base. The falls have heavy dark red purple striping over cream white ground, starting at the apricot hafts and becoming solid at the edge. Burnt orange beards.
Hybridised by Darlene Pinegar in 1992 from Anon X Rancho Rose.
We first saw this iris at Darlene's own nursery Spanish Fork Iris Garden, Utah USA and brought it back to the UK to share.
