Historic Tall Bearded Iris 91cm. Widely flaring flower of excellent substance, Caroline's most famous introduction.
Mid Season flowering, May and June in the UK.
Chartreuse to lime standards with white inside and styles. Golden olive-green falls with a deeper centre, brown beard.
Hybridised by Caroline DeForest in 1966 from (Dawn Crest x S8-38) X (Mary Randall x Golden Chance).
Although not as well known as her husband Fred, Caroline continued hybridising at their home and nursery, Irisnoll, in Oregon into her 90's.
Receiving an Honourable Mention in 1970 and an Award of Merit in 1972.
