Early season showy flowers in orchid and white.
More delicately flowered than Bearded Iris, Siberians are very adaptable and easy to grow. Equally at home in the flower border, or a moist (even bog) garden, by a pond or stream edge but not in water. Full sun or part shade.
Near white style-arms and standards. Lavender rose pink falls with a lighter edge and pinkish violet plicata effect
Introduced by D Steve Varner in 1983 from McEwen and other seedlings. Parent to Memphis Memory, Royal Illini, Valley of Delight and others.
Honourable Mention in 1985, Award of Merit in 1987, Morgan-Wood Medal in 1989.
