British Historic Tall Bearded Iris 90cm.
Named after Lady Duff Twysden, a friend of Cedric's.
Mid Season, flowering May-June in the UK.
Plicata blooms with pale yellow standards. White falls with copper veining about the hafts. White beard tipped yellow.
Introduced by Sir Cedric Morris in 1945. As with many of Cedric iris, the parentage is unknown. He was a prolific hybridiser, but many of his records have been lost. Sarah Cook continues to work tirelessly to re-discover and record many of his lost varieties.
