Historic Siberian Iris 71cm.

Providing vertical interest in a waterside planting or sunny garden border, in full sun or part shade. 

Early to Mid Season flowering, May and June in the UK.

Rich blue ruffled blooms with standards finely edged silvery white. The falls are deeper blue with a dark violet tinge, edged with silvery white, and yellowish white at the base.

Hybridised by Currier McEwen in 1973 from Orville Fay X White Swirl X Violet Flare.

Receiving an Honourable Mention in 1975 and the Morgan-Wood Award in 1978.
