Beautifully Ruffled blooms, dark red maroon standards and sooty velvety black maroon falls. Bright gold beards.
Hybridised by Tom Burseen in 1991 from (Fresno Calypso x Lady Friend) X 6-174A: (Lady Friend x (Gondolier x Galen)).
We first saw this iris in Tom's own nursery in Texas and had to bring it to the UK.
Receiving an Honourable Mention in 1997.
