We first saw this iris at the Thomas Johnson's nursery, Mid-America Iris Garden which he ran with Paul Black in Oregon, and had to bring it to our shores together with many of Paul's iris.
Mid Season flowering, mid-May through June in the UK.
Pronounced Sweet Fragrance.
Beautifully Ruffled Plicata violet blooms, with the falls veined white and white beards.
Hybridised by Paul Black in 2000 from Midnight Mist X Flights of Fancy.
