We have just added this historic iris to our collection from the British hybridiser Sir Cedric Morris. Named for Daphne Bousfield, a student at Benton End in 1939.
Classic plicata markings in ‘old rose’ pink. The standards are suffused with creamy yellow, the falls are pale cream, with old rose.
If you're a collector of British iris, then this is probably a new one for you.
